Room in shared home-Madison St-Princeton

Flexible move-in as early as July 1, 2026. Three rooms available in a wonderful shared four-room home.

Hi there! I am Carolina (PhD student) and since my other beloved housemates are graduating this year, I'm looking to welcome two-to-three folks...
into this great home we've leased since 2020. There are three rooms available -- one on the second floor and two on the house's top floor.

We strongly value building community in our home (e.g., sharing kitchen staples and occasional dinners together as a house, impromptu lounging and friendly chats after busy days, gathering friends together for weekly movie nights, hosting folks when they visit from out of town, etc.). Of course, we are also adults with busy schedules who value flexibility and respect each other's independence. We are looking for someone who values a clean, quiet, and welcoming living space.

The house is a 4-bed 2.5-bath in an ideal location: we're on a quiet neighborhood street a short walk north of campus, shops, restaurants, and transportation. We have a spacious kitchen, living room, and dining room as well as front and back porches. The kitchen is fully stocked and the living/dining common areas are fully furnished. Our duplex also has a private-access basement with a washer and dryer. Know that our basement has plenty of storage space if you need but it is not climate controlled.

There are three available rooms, and we are looking for two-to-three folks to fill them. The two top-floor rooms have previously served as separate bedrooms for two occupants, but this past year one tenant rented both and used one as a bedroom, the other as a spacious WFH office if that's a setup you're looking for. All three rooms have generous closet space and come unfurnished with the potential to buy off some furniture from the current occupant if interested. The current tenant has a private bathroom; the occupants of the other three rooms would share a recently renovated bathroom.

Rent for the second floor bedroom is $1,200/month. The two top-floor rooms are $1,010 and $1,125/month respectively, or $2,135/month for both. Other monthly costs include utilities and WiFi, shared equally amongst housemates.

If you're interested, let us know (message via WhatsApp preferred: 864.230.2228)! We welcome individuals reaching out and groups of folks who are looking to move in together. We'd love to hear from you!
-Carolina

Notes: Due to our teaching commitments, we are looking for graduate students or professionals only (no undergrads, sorry!).

A well mannered, quiet dog will be considered but must be discussed with and approved by the landlord directly.
